Under 15’s Selection Process
2008/2009
a) Eligibility
Players must be aged 14 on the 1st September 2008.
Players must be attending a school or playing club rugby in Hertfordshire. (this is different from the RFU School of Rugby where you must also reside in Hertfordshire)
b) Nomination Process
Players who represented the County U14 squad will be automatically invited to attend to attend either the training sessions or skills session.
Players currently selected for the Saracens EPDG and/or the Herts School of Rugby will be invited to attend the skills session and /or the Final Trial Match.
Players who attended last seasons county U14 trials process will be automatically invited to attend either the training sessions or skills session.
New Nominations only to be made by school coach or club coach and to be emailed to davidtoon@btinternet.com by the 12th September 2008. The following details are required: Name, Date of Birth, Preferred playing position, name of School, Name of club (if any), Contact telephone number and an email address. The email address is important as details of the dates & venues of the trails process will be sent direct to players.
Only nominate additional players you believe have the necessary skills and physical attributes to seriously challenge for a position in the final squad and who HAVE NOT participated in the previous selection process.
Any player who attends without having been nominated by their school or club will not be allowed to participate in the trials process.
