Fifteen Clubs have entered this season's Presidents' Trophy, including the three Hertfordshire non-league Clubs that play in Merit Tables.

In accordance with the spirit of the Trophy Rules, the clubs with the lowest League/Merit table status have been drawn against each other first and subsequently team will be brought in in accordance with their league status or progress in the RFU Vase competitions.

Accordingly the first Round has been drawn as follows:

Hatfield v Borehamwood

Chess Valley v Black Horse

These matches are scheduled to be played on Sunday 23rd November, but may be played on Saturday 22nd by mutual agreement of the Clubs.

Watford and Royston will join the winners of these ties to compete in Round Two, which will take place on the weekend of 13/14 December.

Round Three will take place on weekend of 3/4 January 2009
