13 Clubs have entered the competition, which is for all Hertfordshire Clubs that do not qualify for the Presidents' Cup - i.e. all Clubs at League level 8 (London North West 4) and below. Of these, Barnet Elizabethans, Fullerians, Hitchin and Verulamians are seeded into the quarter finals. The other teams enter as they are eliminated from the National Cups.

Unfortunately the first round got off to a bad start when both Cuffley and Tesco withdrew at the last minute from their ties with Watford and Borehamwood, who joined Chess Valley, Royston and Cheshunt in the second round draw - matches to be played on Sunday, 10th December.
